Even the best maintained sports surfaces can be affected by disease, so don't panic if your lawn gets attacked. Some diseases are airborne, some are inherent in the soil and triggered by the climate – both factors you can do very little to control. The first step is to identify the disease. Take a picture if possible and compare it to our library of common turf diseases, and then treat according to the advice.
